Grab a piece of clothing from your own collection that would match the fit you’re hoping for
Lay flat and measure
Then compare those measurements to the ones provided:
If they are greater, it’s going to be an over-sized fit.
If they match with .5-1” it will be about the same fit.
If it’s smaller, the amount of stretch will be noted in the description of the piece of clothing.
Because sizing varies, pieces are chosen that could fit a plus sized person, regardless of the tag size. Tags are still used as a guideline, but extra measurements are helpful for shopping online.
